Megabat
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Description: (Project is in early stages of development, expect a lot to change)
Megabat is a simple action puzzle game where you control a fruit bat to collect fruit.
Note: This is a simple prototype of a game concept that I hope to expand upon. Everything in the game is made from scratch.
Controls: You can update these controls to whatever you like in options -> controls
Controls | Keyboard | Xbox controller |
Start Pause Movement Dash Fly Climb Screech | I ESC WASD J K Space L | Y Start Control stick (Left) A X RB, RT LB, LT |
- You get one dash that can be refreshed by grabbing fruit
- Your flight can be refreshed by grabbing wall safe zones or getting a fruit
- Fly, Climb, and jump off walls until stamina is depleted
- Screech to disable some traps and stun enemies
Notes: Most things in the game is not final
- Recommended to start a new game after a large update as the level progression will need to be reset.
- Art will change
- Sound will change
- Controls may change as it is still in the early stages of development
- Feel free to leave feedback or report bugs. If you hate it or like it, tell me why :)
Goals:
- Learn more about the Godot engine before I embark on a much larger project
- Finish a polished game
- 50 levels is the current goal but that could change I've got lots of ideas for this but I'm going to be looking for feedback as I build it.

NOTE: If you have a previous build of this game and download a new exe/update the build through itch.io, I recommend starting a new game for now. As the progression of levels is still in early development.
I have a build for windows but be aware that the mac and linux builds are still a work in progress. If you do use a mac or linux build and it does not work let me know what happened by leaving a comment!
